Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients

¾ cup sugar (Br or WH)
2 ½ tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp cocoa
Dash salt
1 tbsp margarine
1 egg beaten
2 cups cold milk

Vanilla / Butterscotch Variations:

Vanilla:
2 cups cold milk
Dash salt
1 egg beaten
½ cup white sugar
3 ½ tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp margarine

Butterscotch:
2 cups cold milk
Dash salt
1 egg beaten
¾ cup brown sugar
2 ½ tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp margarine

Instructions

Combine first 4 ingredients. Make a paste by adding the egg.
Add milk 1 cup at a time, add vanilla and margarine, and heat slowly, stirring often.
