Peaches and Cream Dessert
Ingredients
Crust
- ½ Cup Butter
- 2 Cups Graham Wafer Crumbs
- 1/3 Cup Br. Sugar
Filling
- 2 Cans of Peaches, Drained, Reserve Juice
- 2 Cups Reserved Juice plus water to make the two cups
- ¼ Cup Wh. Sugar
- 2 tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 Pkg. 8 oz. Cream Cheese (Softened)
- 1 Cup Wh. Sugar
- 2 Cups Whipping Cream
Instructions
Melt Butter in saucepan. Stir in crumbs and sugar. Reserve ½ cup and press remaining crumbs into ungreased “9x13” pan.
Combined peaches, juice, water, sugar, and cornstarch in saucepan, heat and stir until it boils and thickens. Cool.
Beat cream cheese with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat cream until stiff. Fold into cheese mixture. Spread ½ onto prepared crust. Spoon thickened peaches over top, spoon second ½ cheese mixture over as best you can. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Chill and cuts into 15 pieces.
