Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 4 ½ cups Flour
  • 2 tbsp. Br. Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 lb. Shortening (Tender-flake)
  • 2 tsp. Vinegar
  • 1 egg slightly beaten

Instructions

In large bowl mix 1st 4 ingredients. Cut in shortening until course. Put vinegar, egg, and enough water to make 1 cup and pour over 1st mixture. Mix well. Knead dough and let sit for 5 minutes. Then roll out. Makes about 4 or 5 double pies.
