Poppycock

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Pecans
  • 1 Cup whole or halved almonds
  • 10 Cups popped popcorn

Mix the above three ingredients together in a large bowl

  • 1 ½ Cups White Sugar
  • ½ Cup Corn Syrup
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • ½ tsp. Cream of Tarter

Instructions

Put ingredients into a saucepan and cook until it boils, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Take off heat add ½ tsp. Baking Soda, 1 tsp. Vanilla and rum extract.

Pour over popcorn mixture, toss with buttered forks. Put onto greased cookie sheets and press down.
