Wholesome Apple Crisp
Ingredients
8 Medium Size Apples
½ Cups Raisins (Optional)
¾ Cup Rolled Oats
½ Cup Flour
2/3 Cup Brown Sugar
3 tbsp. Flour
¼ tsp. Cinnamon
¼ tsp. Cinnamon
½ Cup Cold Butter (cut into bits)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place cut-up apples in an 8-inch baking dish and add raisins.
Blend 1/3 cup brown sugar with 3 tbsp. flour and ¼ tsp. cinnamon.
In a large bowl, blend remaining 1/3 cup sugar, oats, flour, and ¼ tsp. cinnamon.
Cut in butter with 2 knives.
Spread evenly over the fruit and press down gently with the palm of your hand.
Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
