Brown Sugar Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup packed brown sugar

  • 3 Tbps minced/crushed Garlic

  • 1 Tbps roasted red pepper seasoning

  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper

  • 6 boneless, chicken breasts or 12 quartered

  • 12 Slices of bacon

Instructions

  1. Heat Oven to 375° F

  2. In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic, roasted red peppers, salt, and pepper.

  3. Coat chicken breasts in the sugar mixture.

  4. Wrap each breast with 2 slices bacon, (one if using the quartered chicken) tucking ends under to prevent unwrapping.

  5. Place on a baking sheets, Sprinkle any remaining sugar mixture over top.

  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until bacon is browned and chicken is cooked through. Tip: If bacon isn’t crisp, broil 1–2 minutes—watch closely.

  7. Avoid letting the sugar burn; if it darkens too fast, tent loosely with foil.

  8. Cook to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

    Notes & Serving Ideas

    Make Ahead: Coat and wrap chicken up to 24 hours ahead; refrigerate, then bake as directed.

    Serve With: Roasted vegetables, salad, rice, or mashed/roasted potatoes to balance the sweet &savory glaze.
