Salmon and Vegetable Chowder

Ingredients

1 tbsp. Butter
½ cup Chopped Onion
1 clove Garlic, finely chopped
¼ tsp. Thyme and Basil
10 oz. Canned, undiluted condensed chicken broth
1 cup Diced Potatoes
½ cup Corn and Carrots
2 cups Milk
8 oz. Fresh Salmon filet
½ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

In a heavy saucepan, sauté onions in butter until transparent along with garlic and herbs.
Add broth and all vegetables.
Simmer uncovered until vegetables are cooked.
Add milk and small cut chunks of salmon.
Simmer until salmon is flaky. Do not boil.
Divide into 4 bowls, sprinkle with cheese, and enjoy.
